Borauzima Feza Esther is a teaching assistant in political science at the Official University of Bukavu and a researcher at GEC-SH. She holds a Master’s degree in political science and a Master’s degree in gender studies, and her research focuses on the dynamics of armed conflict in North and South Kivu (eastern DRC) in relation to gender and the governance of natural resources. Currently a PhD student at the University of Mons, she is analysing the micro-politics of women in relation to the resources of Virunga National Park.
