EcoAct-Congo

EcoAct-Congo is an independent action research network that generates knowledge and supports public policies for a just and sustainable environment in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Faced with challenges relating to natural resources, climate and biodiversity, we conduct rigorous research, rooted in local realities and developed in partnership with communities, to promote solutions capable of sustainably protecting territories whilst improving people’s living conditions. Founded in 2025, the network brings together researchers, civil society and various local and national institutions to inform public debate, collective action and policy-making.
