Lore is a historian and anthropologist in the making. Since January 2025, she has been a researcher and doctoral student at the University of Mons. Her research focuses on natural resource governance in the Democratic Republic of Congo and environmental justice issues.

She has over 15 years of experience in the development cooperation sector. She has worked in Belgian bilateral cooperation and, mainly, in the NGO sector. During this period, she has specialized in issues of democratic justice related to the Great Lakes region, particularly the Democratic Republic of Congo, Burundi, and Rwanda, where she has developed in-depth knowledge of the field.
