EcoAct develops action-research approaches based on the co-production of knowledge with on-the-ground stakeholders. By combining empirical inquiry, local engagement, and critical reflection, we generate context-specific knowledge that takes into account social, political, and environmental dynamics. This approach prioritizes participatory methods that recognize local knowledge and everyday practices. It allows us not only to document realities but also to support processes of transformation by incorporating the tensions, resistances, and scope for action specific to each context.
